Virtual Evaluations

We often get started with an initial evaluation session which will allow is to learn about your child's strengths and weaknesses. We also take time to get input from the person who knows your child best- you! Throughout the evaluation process, it is our goal to determine:

  • Your concerns and goals for your child

  • Your child's current strengths and challenges

  • Standardized test scores

  • Diagnosis and treatment plan

A formal evaluation may be skipped if your child already has an IEP in place at school or a recent evaluation completed by another agency. Contact us for more information.

Online Therapy

We use a variety of games and digital activities combined with functional practice to get your child engaged in the learning process! Our therapy sessions are upbeat and energetic to keep your child focused and motivated to reach their goals. Some common activities include:

  • Interactive online games

  • Story telling

  • Social scenarios

  • Functional home-based tasks

Our speech therapists often give "homework" to families who wish to practice new therapy skills between sessions. Practice work is personalized to your child's goals, interests, and needs.

Speech

We will identify your child's speech sound errors and teach them to produce those sounds accurately. Speech therapy will help your child:

  • Position their tongue, lips, and jaw to make all age-appropriate sounds

  • Speak clearly

  • Communicate with confidence at home and at school

  • Gain sound knowledge required for reading and spelling

Fluency

Our approach to stuttering not only considers your child's fluency but also their self-confidence. Stuttering therapy can help your child:

  • Learn about stuttering and fluent speech

  • Use strategies and techniques for improved speech fluency

  • Speak with less tension in all settings

  • Feel comfortable talking to peers and other adults

Language

We use language rich activities to help your child understand and use language. Language therapy can help your child:

  • Understand, ask, and answer "Wh-" questions

  • Use complex sentences and tell stories clearly

  • Follow directions and comprehend educational content

  • Successfully communicate in social and academic settings

Social Skills

Using a neurodivergent-supportive approach, we teach "social rules" and contexts to help your child:

  • Form and maintain relationships successfully

  • "Read the room" for social context

  • Understand non-verbal or non-literal social cues

  • Practice social scenarios that may be challenging for them

  • Feel empowered in peer interactions
